White Wine

2017 Roussanne, Temecula Valley, Hart Family Vineyard                                                           $21.00 or WINE CLUB $16.80

Produced from a single acre in our Hart Family vineyard. On it’s home turf in France’s Rhone Valley Roussanne is most likely to be encountered as a component of white wine blends, while here in California it is often bottled as a varietal white wine. As a warm-climate grape it thrives in warmer growing regions, as in southern France and the Temecula Valley. With its excellent balance,  green-apple notes, and subtle, Viognier-like fruit, it pairs well with poultry, simple grilled fish, and other light summer fare.  13.7% alcohol   185 cases

2018 Arneis, Temecula Valley–                                                                                                     $28.00 or WINE CLUB $22.40

Arneis. A little-known grape variety native to the Piedmont region of northern Italy, where limited plantings of the grape exist; California acreage is even more limited. Arneis produces dry, scented wines dominated by aromas of peach and apricot, with evanescent background notes of almond. Made dry, in the Italian style, it is an excellent food wine. 13.4% Alcohol 114 cases

2018 Sauvignon Blanc, Temecula Valley, Hart Family Vineyards          $26.00 or WINE CLUB  $20.80

This alluring, food-friendly, classically-styled wine was produced from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown entirely in the Hart Family Vineyard. A perennial multi- award winner that we have been producing since 1981; recommended serving combinations include grilled fish, oysters on the half-shell, steamed mussels, clams, or garlic chicken. 14.1%  Alcohol. 211  cases

2016 Vermentino , Temecula Valley, Temecula Valley Vineyard                                                  $24.00 or WINE CLUB $19.20

Vermentino is widely planted throughout Italy, primarily in Sardinia, Liguria, Corsica and in Piedmont. We are very excited for the potential as a cultivar in the Temecula Valley, where the warm climate is so similar to much of Italy. Medium bodied with intense floral and citrus notes, completely dry this wine will pair well with grilled fish, shellfish or chicken dishes.

Rose´

2018 Rosé of  Sangiovese                                                                                                              $22.00 or WINE CLUB $17.60

Sangiovese, the pre-eminent grape of the delightful red wines of Italy’s Tuscany region, can also be utilized for the production of charming and versatile Rose′ wines. Using a cold pre-soak followed by pressing and a typical low-temperature white wine fermentation, we produced this lightly pink, near-dry, delicately scented and flavored Rose′ wine, very much in the dryer, food-friendly European style.   Excellent with a wide range of foods, and a great summer sipper. 12.6% Alcohol 166 cases

DESSERT WINE

($5.00 to Taste Angelica)

Angelica, Temecula Valley, Pechanga, Hunter and Cazas Vineyards
$75.00 or WINE CLUB $60.00

Angelica wine dates to the Mission period in California and it”s name is thought to have been taken from the city of Los Angeles. This style of wine was produced by the Franciscan missionaries and was one of the first wines made in the state. Produced from two small vineyards, located on the Pechanga Reservation and planted with Mission grapes sometime between 1882 and 1905, these are the oldest vineyards in the Temecula Valley.  As much as possible we followed traditional missionary winemaking practices in the making of this wine. After fermentation we fortified the must with brandy grape spirits and pressed to old oak barrels. The wine was aged over 2 years outside it the warm Temecula sun. The resulting wine is light brown with beautiful toffee, caramel, hazelnut and root beer notes. Enjoy this wonderful rare wine as a after dinner aperitif. Only 44 cases produced
